Saturday Showcase.... Anything But A Card

Goodmorning everyone!  I bet everyone is as busy as I am.  It is that time of year.  I just want to say I really appreciate the Design Team taking them time to make these lovely projects. You will see a couple of the new stamps used here.I am going to make this a quick post ... so here we go.

Welcome our Guest Designers and NEW STAMPS

Happy Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I have been so busy, I should have posted this several days ago.  Did you get any good Black Friday sales? I DID! and I didn't even have to leave my house!  Many of the deals were online, and I stayed up till the wee hours and managed to snag a few items before they disappeared.

For the month of December we are welcoming two guest designers to The Pixie Cottage.   You saw Tanya Rudd's work displayed in the design team challenge examples.  Tanya has been a great support to The Pixie Cottage and to myself.  She is a kind and selfless person. You know it is hard to get to really "know" someone on the internet, but I feel like I have a good sense of the type of person she is. She contributed to the Toys For Tots Charity Auction. (If you haven't seen it just click on over, it is an excellent value for the money and all goes to a great cause) I thought she deserved to be one of our first guest designers.

And another very talented artist joins us for the month of December. She was one of our first Top 3 winners in our first Pixie Challenge.  Denise over at Denise @ KC242 has such a flair with designing cards.  I love everything she makes, and although I was a bit slow in getting some stamps out to her, she was gracious enough to use some of the digital images till the stamps arrived. "Sooooo....." I said to myself... "wouldn't this be the opportune time to show some of the new stamps arriving very soon?"   Denise was nice enough to make two cards!

The first is a new stamp by ArTish.

I just love how Denise did those clouds in the background, she is going to have to tell me her secret!

She also did a card with Tricia Moore's new nativity stamp. I think it is just  sweet.

Prizes and fun and inspiration abound, and because you have a week and a half to get your entry in, there is plenty of time to find your creative magic... And this week, we are so pleased to welcome our Guest DT, Tanya from Random Acts of Krafting. Not only does this gal have talent, she is as sweet as can be!

Use stitching on your project, whether they be real or "faux" stitching...
